Veterans Fishing Event (Operation Catch and/or Release) Oct. 10, 2026, 10:00am-2:30pm
at the Veterans Memorial Park Lakes. Free event for veterans. A collaborative event with American Legion Post 297, American Legion Auxiliary, HLEW, No Access Armor, and The Freedom 13. The Parks Department will be stocking Fifty (50) 4-5 inch Hybrid bluegill, 200 3-4 inch bluegill, 125 12-16 inch channel catfish with a few big channel catfish. Lunch will be served at noon along with drinks.
